I was delighted to see that The Sedona Conference® Commentary on Information Governance includes the need to address long-term digital continuity of valued information assets as Principle 9. The principle focuses specifically on reasonable measures to ensure the availability and integrity of long-term information assets and is limited to records systems.
The inclusion of this principle can help to engage and educate a key community of interest on digital continuity and preservation requirements and capabilities. It would be interesting to create a comparison of the characteristics of "Trusted Provider/Advisor" with the specification of a "Trustworthy Repository" from ISO 14721 and ISO 16363.
